After three months in beta stage, the next version of Microsoft's free operating system virtualization tool is now available in a release candidate version for Microsoft Connect testers.

The new version is known under the build number of 6.0.142 and features PXE Boot, along with many problems related to using Windows Server 2003 as the host system, and various other bug fixes.

Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 is now avaible for download as a full version, it supports Windows Vista too!
But it seems that Micro$oft has discontinued for use these operating systems to work in VPC 2007:

- MS-DOS
- Windows 1.x,2.x,3.x
- Windows 95

If you want to run these operating systems correctly with Virtual Machine Additions properly installed, you need VM additions from the older version VPC 2004. If you accidentaly deleted your VPC 2004 or you don't have it at the moment - don't worry, send me a PM and I will get it for ya. Just tell me what OS are you planning to use in MS VPC 2007.

MS VPC 2007 adds some kind of hardware virtualization that I don't know nothing about because my CPU is too old (Pentium 4 1,8 GHz).
