Microsoft have started a service called Office Live where you can get a FREE domain (.com, .net, .org) with ad-free hosting. I think it is really cool. Unfortuneterly, I cannot register as I do not have a cred' card but I thought I'll share it with you anyway.
They currently have services in the USA, UK, Japan, France and Germany :
