I use phpBB (because it's free).

But I would love to use vBulletin for it's many resources.

phpbb owns all forums and everyone knows that's a fact go to phpbb-uk.net for some awesome premoded forums. They have way more features than those commercial ones will ever have.

P.S. There are demo forums so you can see which one you like the most before you get it.

I don't like IPB or Vbulletin.

VBulletin looks cool, but the free ones (phpbb and smf) are much better.

Though my board made in vBulletin but I very much like PHPBB and I am working on it to make it cooler like vBulletin.I am hoping I can able to release it in the middle of September.If some one need a free vBulletin then I can give him/her but the condition is he/she must post 1000 topic before any other can do.I don't like SMF as it's page download time is slower than any other and its look always have some question mark.

well...I think that if you are going to use phpbb use all of it's features that are available because if you don't you might as well just get a crappy forum like vBulletin, IPB, and SMF.

vBulletin is better than IPB. thought i am not use anyone of those cause of paid.
i like to use xennoBB for there Admin Options. Thats a great forum script.

vBulletin: The most expensive and the most secure board system.
IPB: The most popular whole the paid board system. A lot of functions and a good security.
SMF: Very cool too, with many tools.
phpBB: Very easy to use and customize, but very simple.

i prefer vbulletin but since both of them are not free, I use SMF or PHPbb but I usually use SMF!

I like phpbb better. here's a link to my favorite phpbb forum that i've made! it's sweet! check it out! It's about halo 3. it's pretty cool. I'm not completely finished with it, but if you have any suggestions, become a member and post it in suggestions.
