I cannot stand Macs, although they do have one or two features that are far improved on Windows.

However Windows XP is my choice.

Windows XP for me. I had Windows ME before but I upgraded.

Windows XP owns everything because it has right click and can support VB6 based games.

My choice for my personal computer is windows xp, but for a server i would use linux :)

I never used a mac before, and properly never will, they are to expensive in denmark.

I use Windows XP, but I'm love with Macs. I hope that the Mac Leopard comes out soon so I can use Mac and Windows.

Windows for me, Windows XP to pe exact is a great OS, to chose, come one we need more votes on this.

I currently use windows, but if I had a choice, I would use Mac.

 I personally Prefer using Linux.  First it s more secure then windows will ever be.  There are way to many people who are hacking there way into xp and now vista . to bother with the operating systems  unless you absolutily need them for some gaming ..  I own a computer repair and networking biz and i always suggest Linux over any other os.

But with all that said Mac OS is the runner up.  ( unix core i wonder why :-P)

I bought my mac about a year ago, i was an eager mac fan, little did i know it wasn't all as good as i thought. Everything went fine for about half a year until my hard drive crashed. I then went to the apple store and they supplied me with a replacement, however, this was also not long till 5 months later which is just a few weeks ago the hard drive crashed yet again. I am all in favour of macs and i analyze it in this way, even though PC's get virus's, that's like torturing a computer however a mac crashing is like a sudden injury which can be fixed/healed. So i then got a new hard drive but i was astonished to find that even though Mac Users always go on about no trial software and macs work out of the box, well, i started it up again to go through the little animation entrance, i then had to sign up for my .mac and set up the date and networks an everything.
Finally, i had successfully installed Mac OS X again! I was looking in the applications folder only to find a copy of Aperture, i was suddenly thrilled, i thought they had given me it as compensation but oh boy was i wrong. I looked inside only to find it was Demo Software lasting for 30 days!
I just deleted it without hesitation. I was looking through all the other applications to find that they also gave me Office 2004 demo which i also had to install. I know how macs are suppose to be so great but how are they so great if they crash and i find they are lowering to PC's level. What is with the new Leopard Background with grass? Is that a copy of Vista or not? Maybe mac's not so innovative.

i wanted to try something new like linux, and others.
but our computer at home is in xp.
like my mom would allow me to change it.
i've been using windows xp all my life :(

when it come to compatibility on most of the software, nothing can beat windows. thats all
